What You’ll Need:
Vacuum with attachments
Soft Mop
Bucket
Water
Cleaning Guide:
- Remove dirt and dust using a vacuum with a hard-floor attachment or a dust mop.
- To clean the surface of the floor, use a damp, not soaked, cloth or soft mop. Do not use any kind of soap or detergent, as these may leave a filmy residue that will dull the floor.
- For a heavy cleaning to remove additional dirt and dust, Pergo offers a Laminate and Hard Surface Cleaner. You can also create your own cleaner using 1 cup vinegar to 1 gallon of warm water.
- Do not wax, refinish, polish, or sand your Pergo floor.
- To remove spills from chocolate, juice, or wine, use Pergo floor cleaner or water and a non-abrasive cleaner such as ammonia. Nail polish remover can be used on tough stains caused by markers, nail polish, cigarette burns, etc.
